<p>From yesterday’s Public Health Scotland <a href="https://publichealthscotland.scot/media/9821/21-10-20-covid19-publication_report.pdf" target="_blank">COVID-19 Statistical Report</a>, a graph of acute hospital admissions from 1 September 2020 to 15 October 2021 (the log scale enormously magnifies Corona-related admissions as a share of the total):</p>

<p>Remember that over 92% of all eligible adults are vaccinated in Scotland. Once again, there is just no discernible effect on the overall numbers.</p>

<p>Broken down by age and vaccination status, admissions look like this:</p>

<p>The report also continues <a href="https://eugyppius.substack.com/p/negative-efficacy-or-something-is" target="_blank">the trend of negative efficacy we observed on Tuesda</a>y, once again confirming higher infection among the vaccinated in all age brackets over 30:</p>

<p>Cases among the fully vaccinated, if anything, seem to be trending slightly upwards, while in the unvaccinated they remain flat or declining. Note that it’s mostly high case numbers among 0–15 year-olds (almost surely, an artefact of school testing programs) which allow the report to claim “lower rates of cases in vaccinated individuals” (p. 37).</p>
